Glasgow firm provides M&E services for new hotel

GLASGOW-based building services contractor Arc-Tech (Scotland) has been appointed to lead the installation of mechanical and electrical services for a new 70-room hotel in Edinburgh.

The Travelodge, which is situated at Edinburgh Park, is being delivered by Ogilvie Construction and is set to open in November. The three-storey hotel will feature a bar/restaurant, kitchens, staff offices and support accommodation, alongside full parking provision.

Arc-Tech will provide a full turnkey solution to the contract, providing Mechanical & Electrical Services & Public Health (MEP) consisting of a mix of ventilation, drainage, water supply and heating, as well as lighting, fire, security and data communications systems.
