Housebuilder submits plans to extend “extremely popular” Edinburgh scheme

HOUSEBUILDER Springfield Properties has submitted a planning application for over 100 new homes at a scheme near Edinburgh.

The firm has submitted proposals to Edinburgh City Council to extend its existing site at The Wisp with an additional 104 private two-bedroom apartments and 35 affordable apartments.

The housebuider said the proposals were a response to “high demand” for suburban living.

Springfield Central sales director, Tricia Malek commented, “Our initial selection of homes in this area has proved to be extremely popular, with only five homes left for sale.

“The speed at which these have been snapped up shows a clear demand for suburban properties in the area. Our new proposals will help us to continue to build great quality homes for those who are looking to buy close to the city.”
