KEEPMOAT Homes has appointed Beth McNeil as new regional managing director of its Scottish division.
Beth joined the business in 2015 and was named operations director in May. Keepmoat currently has eight sites in development across Scotland with Sighthill in Glasgow, the biggest regeneration scheme of its kind outside of London, due to start on site next summer.
Sandy McBride, divisional chairman, north west and Scotland, said, “We have achieved great things in Scotland over the last three years. I am delighted that Beth, who has been with the Scotland team from the start and has excelled in her previous roles, is being recognised with this promotion and that she will also be the first female regional managing director at Keepmoat Homes.
“Our vision goes far beyond bricks and mortar as we strive to create new neighbourhoods, support communities and transform lives through our work – I know Beth alongside the rest of the team will continue to work with our partners and customers as we look to further grow our business in Scotland.”
James Thomson, CEO of Keepmoat Homes added, “Beth’s promotion to be regional managing director is a testament to the crucial role she has played in supporting the growth of our Scottish division. It also demonstrates clearly the important role women play in the construction sector and I hope it inspires future generations to consider this industry for their careers. I look forward to continuing to work with Beth as she takes on this new role, in order to deliver the much needed new homes Scotland needs.”
Commenting on her new role, Beth said, “Having seen the Keepmoat Homes division in Scotland build in strength and depth since it was established in 2015 I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to lead the business, working with our fantastic team, partners and customers as we enter the next phase of our growth plan and continue to increase regional output.”
