OGILVIE Construction has completed work at the 374-bed Motel One Hotel in Glasgow city centre.

The hotel marks the first in Glasgow for the European budget designer brand. The project was Ogilvie’s second for Motel One following completion of a hotel on Princes Street, Edinburgh, in 2014.

Motel One operates 65 hotels across Europe with more than 18,000 rooms in nine countries.

Donald MacDonald, managing director of Ogilvie Construction said, “We are proud to have worked with Motel One to build their vision for a new hotel in the centre of Glasgow. Constructed to the highest standards, the building combines the use of high quality materials with excellent design to create an outstanding modern environment for a stay in the city.”
