DM Hall is to host a summer ball at Prestonfield House in Edinburgh to raise money for charity.
The chartered surveying firm has vowed to deliver an evening of “glitz, humour and networking” on June 22 in aid of the company’s two charity partners, Alzheimer Scotland and Macmillan Cancer Support.
John Albiston, senior partner of DM Hall said, “I am delighted to say that all but a handful of tables for this exciting event have already been sold and we have been humbled by the fantastic support we have received for this inaugural event from our colleagues across the entire Scottish business community.
“We are promising our 300 plus guests a first class evening of wining, dining and entertainment as well as, we hope, a great opportunity to show their support for the vital work done throughout the country by our two charity partners, Alzheimer Scotland and Macmillan Cancer Support.”
The event will be hosted by entertainer and broadcaster Grant Stott and will comprise comedy, music, dancing and a charity auction.
Linda Thompson, corporate fundraiser for Alzheimer Scotland said, “It has been a real pleasure to work alongside DM Hall in their fundraising efforts and we are looking forward to attending the summer ball where we will have the opportunity to talk about our work to help support people living with dementia and their families across Scotland. All monies raised by the DM Hall team will go a long way to boost our local support, services and advice which will help us to get closer to achieving our aim of making sure that nobody faces dementia alone.”
Laura Foreman, regional fundraising manger for Macmillan Cancer Support added, “We are delighted to be working alongside DM Hall in preparation for their summer ball in June. The money raised throughout this partnership including on the night will help up support more people living with cancer in the local community.”
