A 234-bedroom student accommodation complex has been completed in the centre of Edinburgh.
Built by CCG, the development is on Orwell Terrace in the Dalry district and has been created for Edinburgh Napier University students.
CCG said the apartments are “ideally suited” for student living and is close to local amenities including supermarkets and a sports centre. The homes have been fitted with modern interiors and each residence is dual aspect – typically in clusters of 4-9 bedrooms – featuring en-suite shower rooms and a shared living room/kitchen for each flat.
Alastair Wylie, chairman and CEO of CCG said, “Orwell Terrace is a modern development for the modern student, ideally located in order for young people to benefit from their studies as well as the city of Edinburgh.
“The development was constructed using CCG’s own ‘Off-Site Manufactured’ (OSM) timber frame system. Due to the size of the site and the singular access road, we simply would not have been able to deliver the project without utilising Modern Methods of Construction.”
