NorDan has designed a new front entrance doorset for the UK market, following extensive consultations with local authorities, housing associations and police initiatives.
It’s called the NTech security door, and comes with Winkhaus locking system and Hoppe handles. NorDan describe the product as being ideally suited for large or small projects and say it will be of interest to housing associations and contractors.
NorDan said, “The new door has all the attributes of NorDan’s well established composite entrance doorset. The strength to resist forced entry, the robustness to cope with everything bad weather throws at it, driving rain and storm force winds.
“There are five different styles, all offered in RAL and NCS colours, with white as standard. Four styles have glazed panels allowing additional light into a hallway, the fifth is a solid door with Chen Chen finish.
“The door comes in 1.0 and 1.2 w/m2K thermal values, and gives extremely good security attributes, giving residents great peace of mind.
“The NTech Security doorset combines NorDan’s 90 years of manufacturing experience with Norwegian integrity and NorDan’s fine reputation for innovation.”
NorDan is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year. Founded in Moi, Norway in 1926, the firm is still owned and managed by the Rasmussen family. Employing over 1500 people Europe wide, products are manufactured in eight wholly owned factories.
