PERTHSHIRE-based Hadden Construction has announced a 12.6% increase in turnover to £17.6 million.
Pre-tax profits were up 67% to £680,945 for the year ended March 2015.
Chairman Scott Hadden said he was confident of “continued controlled expansion” though conceded the construction sector still faces challenges.
Company secretary Ronald Horne said the figures were satisfactory. He added, “The speculative housing sector has shown signs of recovery which has resulted in the sale of the final two completed dwellings in the company’s land holdings.
“The controlled increase in turnover was due to the improvement in activity in the industry in general, and allowed the company to further invest in personnel and infrastructure.”
