City Building is looking for subcontractors to support its work in Glasgow and the surrounding areas. The company has advertised 78 lots across its construction and manufacturing operations worth up to £280 million.
As part of City Building’s social ethos, the firm is committed to delivering a range of community benefit opportunities. As part of this framework, the company is encouraging contractors to commit to paying at least the Glasgow Living Wage.
Interested sub-contractors can register their interest and bid to access these opportunities via the Public Contracts Scotland website which will outline the criteria that applicants will have to meet if they are to be successful in securing work.
Executive Director of City Building, Graham Paterson, explained, “We have a proven track record of delivering top-quality products and services while at the same delivering a range of important social, economic and environmental benefits as part of our work. At £280 million, this framework represents a substantial piece of business and a great opportunity for businesses across the country to play their part in the continued success of our business.
“We are particularly interested in hearing from those who feel that they can contribute to our long standing commitment to maximising the social, economic and environmental benefits of our work.”
