THE Lighthouse Charity Scotland West Region raised £10,500 at its annual race night at Hamilton Park.
This year, 265 guests supported the Lighthouse Charity after 25 companies booked tables at the event. The racegoers were welcomed to the Club Lawn Marquee by Martin Allan, representing the Lighthouse Scotland West Region and then by Ashley Moon, MD of Hamilton Park Racecourse.
Guests enjoyed a three course meal before the excitement of the races. Located on the finishing straight at Hamilton Park, the Marquee offered guests a prime position to cheer on the horses in the seven races.
A raffle raised over £3,000 and contributed to an amazing £10,500 raised overall.
Alan Gimour, chair of the Lighthouse Charity Scotland West Region, said, “The committee would like to offer a huge thank you to everyone that supported the event and to those companies that generously donated raffle prizes.”
Prize donors included Hamilton Park Racecourse, Hilton Hotel Glasgow, Eastford Excavations, Blackwood Training & Plant Hire, West of Scotland Haulage, Leonardos Restaurant, Bothwell, and Waverley Cruises.
