BARRATT North Scotland has been awarded two prestigious titles at the leading UK housebuilder’s national awards, beating off stiff competition from 26 divisions across the UK.
With its head office in Balmedie, Aberdeen, and 11 developments across Aberdeen City and Shire, Inverness and Moray, the team has received the Barratt Homes National Customer Care award as well as the Barratt Homes National Health and Safety award.
The highly sought after acknowledgements, which were awarded by Barratt Homes’ Chief Executive Mark Clare and Chairman Bob Lawson, come at the end of what has been a fruitful year for the North Scotland division.
In June Barratt North Scotland’s Castlewell development in Ellon, Aberdeenshire, won Housing Development of the Year at the Scottish Home Awards. In the same month, north Site Manager, Tommy Heanan, picked up his fifth Pride in the Job Award from the National Housebuilding Council (NHBC).
The division has also enjoyed unprecedented sales success at its sites in Aberdeen City and Shire in particular, with over 90 per cent of properties now sold at numerous developments. Den of Pitfodels in Aberdeen is one of the developments which has enjoyed strong sales and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Douglas McLeod, Regional Director for Barratt Scotland, said, “This has been a fantastic year for Barratt North Scotland and receiving these two awards is yet another great achievement for the team. I am very proud and thankful to everyone that has helped us accomplish this outstanding result. This official recognition demonstrates Barratt North Scotland’s industry leading approach to both building quality homes and delivering excellent customer service.”
