A topping-out ceremony has been held to mark completion of the exterior of the £15.5m Dumbarton Academy.
Among those at the event were Grant Robertson from the Scottish Futures Trust and Douglas Keillor, regional director of contractor BAM Construction. Precast concrete rather than steel and brick has been used for the construction. As well as increasing the quality of the structure this approach also saved time and enabled the school to be built in 60 weeks.
