PMP has announced that Lorraine Martin, head of the property and building consultancy’s Glasgow office, has been appointed to the board of directors.

Lorraine formally took on leadership of the Glasgow office around 12 months ago. PMP said the latest move recognises her ‘hard work, perseverance and resilience’. She joins Stewart Rutherford, Mark Humphries, Mat Belgrove and Chris Paveling on the PMP board, along with non-executive directors John Dunn and Kai Murray.

The appointment has been described as the first of several structural changes PMP will make over the coming period as the business continues to evolve as a property partner to its clients.

MD Stewart Rutherford said, “Ours is a people business, and Lorraine is a brilliant example of what that means. She’s led our Glasgow office with real determination, it’s firing on all cylinders, and the results speak for themselves. It was a pleasure to announce her appointment to the board in front of so many of our clients and partners, and I’m delighted to welcome her officially.”

Lorraine Martin added, “I’m proud of what the Glasgow team has achieved over the past year, and honoured to join the board. I’m supported by a team of brilliant people who work hard for our clients every day. I’m looking forward to helping shape PMP’s strategic ambitions as we grow, while protecting the culture that sets PMP apart in the marketplace.”
