THE Springfield Group’s Christmas Cheer campaign is set to return for a third year.
The firm is urging residents at five of its developments to nominate local charities to receive a £500 Christmas donation. Residents at Springfield Properties’ Bertha Park in Perth, Dykes of Gray in Dundee and Glassgreen Village in Elgin, as well as Tulloch Homes’ The Maples in Inverness and Walker Group’s Roseberry Park in Tranent, can submit their favourite charities for consideration.
Nominations can be submitted via an online form and QR codes on signs displayed throughout each development and promoted on social media.
Last year’s campaign drew more than 35 nominations and led to £3,500 in donations to charities, including Moray Women’s Aid, Mindspace, Help for Kids, Togs for Tots, Highlands and Islands Blood Bikes and L’Arche Highland.
Innes Smith, chief executive of The Springfield Group, said, “Supporting the communities where we build matters to Springfield all year round, and Christmas makes it particularly special. Our Christmas Cheer campaign is driven by our residents. By listening to the causes they care about, we can support organisations that are already making a real impact locally. We’re looking forward to hearing more of those local stories through this year’s nominations.”
