COUNCIL houses are continuing to be delivered across Dunfermline with 85 completed during 2025/26, new Fife Council figures have revealed.
A further 57 homes are under construction in Milesmark, Duloch, and south Dunfermline. They are expected to be completed by March 2027. Another 95 homes in Dunfermline North and Abbeyview are expected to be completed by September 2027, the local authority said.
The report highlights the continuing need for affordable housing, particularly larger family homes and homes designed for people with specific needs.
Councillor Judy Hamilton, Fife Council’s spokesperson for housing and building services, said, “We know that having access to a good-quality home can make a real difference to people’s lives. That’s why we’re continuing to invest in new council houses across Dunfermline while also improving the homes our tenants already live in.”
