AT-PAC had cause for celebration recently after the firm’s Raised Ledger System was named Product of the Year at the NASC Scaffolding Excellence Awards 2026.
The innovation is described as representing a new approach to creating safer working environments while maximising the value of existing ringlock scaffold inventories.
The Raised Ledger System is engineered to create continuous, flush working platforms by elevating the main ledger 0.2m above standard connection points, eliminating the protrusions that can be typically encountered on conventional scaffold decks. The result is a ‘trip-free’ work surface that allows crews to move more safely and efficiently across large working areas while maintaining uninterrupted guardrail protection around the platform perimeter.
“Receiving this award is an incredible achievement for our team and recognition of how we continuously look for better solutions to real challenges,” said David Clark, AT-PAC head of product management. “The Raised Ledger System was developed to solve a challenge faced by scaffolding professionals every day.
“By rethinking how scaffold platforms can be designed and installed, we combined enhanced safety, faster installation, and seamless ringlock compatibility to create a solution that delivers measurable value for contractors, scaffold crews, and project owners alike.”
The system has been deployed across a range of demanding applications, including industrial maintenance projects, suspended work platforms, birdcage scaffolds, and event structures.
AT-PAC added that its ability to create large, level, and obstruction-free work surfaces has made it particularly valuable in environments where worker mobility, material handling, and productivity are critical.
