BELLWAY project manager Peter Lawrie has been presented with the NHBC Pride in the Job Large Builder Regional Award for Scotland.

Peter will now represent Scotland at the UK Supreme Awards Final in London next year after winning the category for the second time for his work at Earl’s Way in Glenrothes. Located on Coater Road just a mile from the town centre, Earl’s Way is nearing completion with a range of four-bedroom homes available.

Peter, from Dunfermline, has achieved ten Quality Awards and six Seals of Excellence throughout his career. He said, “This is a huge testament to the contractors and everyone involved in the development. The award belongs to the whole team and not myself. I am extremely proud of what we have achieved at Earl’s Way and grateful to everyone who has played a part.”

Eddie McCann, who manages Robertson Homes’ Meadowside development in Bo’ness, won the Medium Sized Builder category and will also travel to London for the UK final next year. Robertson is building 109 new four, five and six-bedroom homes at Meadowside.

Eddie McCann said, “I am thrilled to have won the Regional Award for Scotland and want to share my success with the whole construction team at Meadowside. It is a genuine team effort and I would like to recognise the collective hard work of everyone on the development to achieve our site goals.”

The Small Builder category was won by Eric Wallace from Orkney Builders (Contractors) for his work at Walliwall in Kirkwall, while Campbell Te Rito from Cala Homes East triumphed in the Multi-Storey category in recognition of his work at Rosebery Wynd in South Queensferry.
