PACIFIC Building is to release three short films to showcase the company’s push into the hotel fit-out sector across Scotland.
The videos are being launched to coincide with the Hillington-based firm’s attendance at the Annual Hospitality Conference in Manchester later this week. They highlight the bespoke joinery manufactured at Pacific’s in-house carpentry workshop through to ‘sympathetic’ treatment of historical and significant locations and materials.
The first film focuses on hotel reception areas. Colour palettes, materials and ‘eye-catching’ features are highlighted in Pacific’s project deliveries in Edinburgh at the Marriott Hotel Holyrood, Apex Waterloo Place and the Mount Royal on Princes Street. Similarly, at The Marine in North Berwick and Seaton House in St Andrews – both big names for golf lovers from around the world – refurbishments were delivered to enhanced presence and functionality but also complement the natural features of their geographical locations.
The second video shows Pacific’s work on restaurants, bars and function suites at various hotels, including Edinburgh’s Marriott Holyrood, Apex Waterloo Place and Mount Royal as well as The Marine in North Berwick, plus Seaton House and the world-famous Rusacks, both in St Andrews. Using both traditional and modern materials, fixtures, fittings and lighting, these projects encompassed brasseries, cocktail lounges and upmarket restaurants inlcuding the Ondine Oyster And Grill at Seaton House.
The third film looks at hotel rooms. Pacific has refurbished more than 1,000 rooms across the country. The Holiday Inn Edinburgh Zoo as well as Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza, Hilton Garden Inn and Carlton George are featured.
MD Gerard McMahon said, “We are extremely proud of our achievements in the hotel fit-out sector, and these films help us tell our story in a visually striking way. Our work speaks for itself at some of the most iconic locations and establishments in Scotland where the demand for high quality comes not just from the hotel operators but from their customers too. We look forward to bringing our expertise and special touch to other hotel projects across the country in the coming months.”
