ECOLOGICAL Building Systems, a supplier of natural building products for sustainable construction, has launched a new online calculator, designed to make early-stage project planning ‘quicker, simpler and more accessible’.
System Calculator guides users through a series of questions about the existing construction and desired upgrade to build a complete wall, roof, floor or loft system rather than selecting individual products in isolation. The system automatically generates a specification tailored to the selected project requirements, including the estimated material quantities, costs and the achievable U-value. Users can then adjust their answers to compare how different options affect material quantities, costs and thermal performance.
