MCTAGGART Construction recently marked its 80th anniversary by treating staff to a hospitality day at the Ayr Gold Cup.
Colleagues from across the business came together at Ayr Racecourse for an afternoon of racing, hospitality, and celebration.
Away from the pressures of site and office, McTaggart said the day gave colleagues, many of whom don’t often cross paths, the chance to catch up together. The event also provided an opportunity to say thanks and recognise the site teams and office staff whose hard work and commitment have driven success.
MD Janice Russell explained, “None of this would be possible without our staff. Every single person across the business plays a part in our success, and days like this are a way of saying thank you for everything they do.”
The day formed part of a series of events McTaggart Construction has held throughout 2026 to celebrate its 80th anniversary, recognising the contribution of staff to the company’s growth from its founding in 1946 to its position today delivering social and affordable housing across Scotland.
