CLARK Contracts has donated over £500 of back-to-school items to support children and young people as they prepare for the new academic year.
The donations – made by the firm’s employees over the summer – included school uniforms, stationery, school bags, and other essential items suitable for children at various ages and stages of their education.
The items were donated to the STAR Project in Paisley and Edinburgh School Uniform Bank, to distribute to local families for the new school year. The initiative forms part of Clark Contracts’ ongoing commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates – with staff contributing practical items designed to help ease pressures on families during the back-to-school period.
STAR Project said, “We are delighted to receive this support from Clark Contracts. Families are under more financial pressure than ever, and children go through school uniform so quickly. Knowing they can access such items through STAR helps takes the pressure off.”
Edinburgh School Uniform Bank added, “Demand for uniform support across Edinburgh is very high, making this partnership critical. Thanks to Clark Contracts generous donation of backpacks, stationery, and uniform items, local children are walking into school this term with confidence, wearing clothes they feel good about and having vital stationery supplies in their backpacks. This support directly helps us ensure that no child starts the school year feeling left behind.”
