
BALFOUR Beatty has appointed Emma Loxton as the group’s chief strategy officer.
Emma joins from McKinsey & Company, where she spent more than a decade advising industrial and infrastructure businesses on strategy, transformation and growth. She was a partner at McKinsey, most recently leading its UK advanced industries and transport & infrastructure practices. Earlier in her career, she was a senior policy advisor in the UK Government’s prime minister’s strategy unit.
Emma will help shape and deliver Balfour Beatty’s long-term strategy when she joins in October, supporting the next phase of growth across its chosen markets and building on the group’s infrastructure capability, presence in the UK, US and Asia, and priority growth markets of UK energy, UK transport, UK defence and US buildings.
Balfour Beatty is currently continuing to deliver its profitable growth strategy and advance its ‘Evolve, Energise, Explore’ growth plan.
