‘SIGNIFICANT’ progress is being made on the build of Clackmannanshire Council’s flagship learning, leisure, and wellbeing campus in Alloa.
Scheduled to open next year, the facility will feature a range of community spaces, a café, play and social spaces, flexible rooms, as well as the Wellbeing Hub and Lochies School – both of which will be Passivhaus.
The project is being delivered by hub East Central Scotland, with Robertson Construction as main contractor and the wider project team featuring jmarchitects, Rankin Fraser, Blyth & Blyth, BakerHicks, ECD Architects, and Egis.
The facility is starting to become wind and watertight, with sections of the internal fit-out already underway. The steel frame construction was completed earlier this year, with a steel signing taking place.
