PAISLEY-based Clark Contracts has been shortlisted for two national awards.

The company has been named as a finalist in both the Best Construction Industry Training Provider and Employer of the Year – Large (250+ Employees) categories at the 2026 Building the Future Construction Awards.

Clark said the recognition reflects the firm’s commitment to investing in people at every stage of their careers. A key part of this is the Clark Contracts Academy, which provides a structured approach to training, development and career progression. Through apprenticeships, graduate programmes, work placements, professional development opportunities and engagement with schools, colleges and universities, the company revealed that it continues to support the next generation of construction professionals while creating long-term career opportunities.

MD Gordon Cunningham said, “We are proud to be shortlisted in two categories at the Building the Future Construction Awards. Investing in our people has always been central to our business, and these nominations recognise the commitment of our teams to developing talent, creating opportunities and supporting the next generation of construction professionals.

“Being recognised alongside organisations from across the UK is a significant achievement and reflects the culture we have built at Clark Contracts, where continuous learning, development and career progression are encouraged at every level.”

The awards organisers noted that this year’s standard of nominations was exceptionally high, with each finalist recognised for their achievements, dedication and contribution to the future of the construction industry. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Birmingham on 5 November.
