BELLWAY has announced the launch of a new development on the outskirts of Paisley.

Situated on the former site of Dykebar Hospital, Abercrombie Park is being delivered by a consortium comprising Cala Homes, Bellway Homes and Barratt Homes. Once complete, the site will comprise 603 properties.

The plans have been shaped over more than a decade, with consideration given to the character of the site and the needs of the local community.

The first phase of homes will be delivered by Bellway and include 132 properties comprising a mix of three-bedroom semi and detached homes and four-bedroom properties. There are plans for a further 68 homes in a second phase.

Pauline Coates, sales director, Bellway Homes Ltd (Scotland West), said, “Abercrombie Park will provide a much-needed housing boost for the community, and we’re delighted to be delivering the first homes. Significant investment has been made in the development infrastructure, including a new access roundabout and enhanced foot and cycle pathways, that will improve local connectivity.”
