TICKETS are still available for the Scottish Civil Engineering Awards, which will take place at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) on September 25.
CECA Scotland revealed the awards showcase the outstanding achievements of civil engineering contractors and the projects that are helping to shape Scotland’s infrastructure. This year,16 projects have been nominated by contractors from across the country.
The winners will be announced during the awards ceremony, which provides an opportunity for industry leaders, clients, partners, and stakeholders to come together to recognise the exceptional work taking place within the sector.

In addition to preparations for the awards, CECA Scotland has announced the appointment of David Macdonald as the organisation’s new regional director.
CECA said he brings a wealth of experience across the civil engineering and infrastructure sector to the role. He will support members, strengthen relationships across the industry, and champion the civil engineering sector in Scotland.
