KATHERINE Mackintosh has been appointed as the new MD of Robertson Property, as the business looks to expand its work on masterplanning, town centre regeneration, housing and regional economic development across the UK.
Since joining Robertson in 2008 from Highland Council, Katherine has played a key role in a number of developments. Current projects include working with Cardiff Council on its regeneration masterplan for Atlantic Wharf Butetown and the multi-agency South Street regeneration project in Elgin.
In her new role, she will lead the strategic direction of the property business, building on its expertise in regeneration, masterplanning, asset management and property development.
Katherine said, “Property development is increasingly about bringing together the right partners, expertise and investment to unlock opportunities that create lasting value for communities. Robertson Property has a strong track record of delivering regeneration and development projects in partnership with the public and private sectors. We will continue to build upon our experience to bring forward ambitious developments that create significant economic, social and environmental value for our customers.”
Elliot Robertson, CEO, Robertson Group, added, “Katherine has played a central role in some of our most significant regeneration projects and brings extensive experience of working with customers and partners to unlock complex development opportunities. As housing, regeneration and economic growth become an even greater priority across the UK, Robertson Property has an increasingly important role to play.
“Katherine understands the value of bringing together expertise from across Robertson. By combining our strengths in property development, construction and facilities management, we can support customers from the earliest stages of a project through to long-term operation, creating better outcomes for communities and our partners.”
