Construction starts at Cala’s first Bo’ness development

Cala team at Bo'ness site

CONSTRUCTION has commenced at Cala’s The Crawfields development in Bo’ness.

The site, located off Crawfield Road, marks the housebuilder’s first project in the town. A team of site employees and subcontractor partners have mobilised, with work progressing as the first homes begin to take shape.

The initial phase of construction is focused on laying the foundations for the new community and getting the first timber kits erected, including the kit for the five-bedroom Lewis showhome.

The Cala team is also working on its Community Pledge initiative which goes beyond planning obligations, bringing together a host of bespoke measures for Bo’ness.

The Crawfields will consist of a collection of three, four, and five-bedroom housetypes. Cala plans to release its first phase of homes in the autumn. Homes at The Crawfields will feature air source heat pumps and EV charging.

Suzanne McElhiney, sales & marketing director at Cala Homes (West), said, “The commencement of work represents an exciting step forward for this development and for the future residents who will eventually call The Crawfields at Bo’ness home. We know there is demand for homes in this area and we anticipate this interest will continue as the site develops.”
