CAMPION Homes is marking two milestones in the delivery of affordable homes in Dundee through its partnership with Abertay Housing Association.
The Dundee-based housing association has now taken ownership of eight new three-bedroom homes at Angus Street, while work has also started on site at Clepington Road, where 31 affordable rented homes will be delivered.
The completed Angus Street development has transformed vacant land into a new residential setting, creating eight modern family homes which have been carefully designed to blend with the existing architectural fabric of the city.
At Clepington Road, work has now started on a further 31 affordable rented homes, including a mix of two and three-bedroom houses, cottage flats and a wheelchair accessible bungalow. The development has been designed by Wellwood Leslie Architects to meet a range of local housing needs, with several homes also allowing for future adaptation.
Sustainability is central to the Clepington Road project, with a fabric-first design approach, air source heat pumps and EV charging infrastructure. The development has also been designed to enhance biodiversity, with green space and garden ground playing an important role in the overall site layout.
