SENIOR Architectural Systems has appointed Paul Henderson to the role of architectural advisor for Scotland and Ireland, following the retirement of Kenny McEnemy.
He will provide support to architects, main contractors and specifiers working with the aluminium fenestration solutions manufacturer’s range of windows, doors and curtain wall systems. Paul brings over a decade of experience in the fenestration and construction industries to the role.
As building regulations and standards across Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland can differ in both scope and performance targets, particularly around thermal efficiency, fire safety and sustainability, Senior explained that Paul’s role ensures design teams receive clear, project-specific guidance that reflects these variations and supports early stage compliance.
“Senior has a strong reputation for technical integrity and collaborative working, and I’m looking forward to getting out across the regions and supporting design teams directly,” Paul said. “Project requirements, targets and challenges differ across the regions, especially across Scotland and Ireland, so having someone on the ground who understands those nuanced differences really helps.
“My focus is on giving architects and specifiers practical, project-specific advice so they can make confident, informed decisions from day one.”
Senior’s national specification manager, Andrew Cooper, added, “Paul’s regional knowledge and hands-on experience will be a valuable asset to our customers and I am delighted to welcome him to the team.”
