PROCAST Group has secured a new contract from North Lanarkshire Council, which will see the firm deliver electrical services to domestic properties across the region.
The two-year deal, with the option of two one-year extensions, will see Hamilton-based Procast provide up to 250 home rewires each year in a bid to improve the safety, efficiency and reliability of electrical systems for residents.
The programme will also support employment and apprenticeship opportunities, with the extended contract term providing the stability needed to invest in skills, training and long-term workforce growth.
Derek Innes, MD of Procast Group, said, “We are delighted to continue and extend our valued client relationship with North Lanarkshire Council through this new electrical contract. This programme will allow us to deliver essential electrical upgrades to around 250 homes each year of the term while creating new employment and apprenticeship opportunities within the local community, and the extended contract term gives us the confidence to invest in our people, expand our workforce and further strengthen our presence in North Lanarkshire as we continue supporting the council’s ambitions to improve homes, enhance safety and contribute to the region’s economic growth.”
