HILLINGTON-based Pacific Building is celebrating a milestone following the completion of 1,000 bedroom refurbishments at hotels across the country.

The portfolio of work includes business and tourist hotspots, with brands such as Marriott and Hilton among the company’s clients, along with specialist boutique operators including Marine & Lawn.

The scope of works has included decoration, new case goods, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP), bathrooms, fire-stopping, air-conditioning installation, flooring and bespoke joinery.

Pacific revealed that its bespoke joinery workshop has allowed the firm to provide ‘added value’ to hospitality clients via a single point of contact, through continuity from design to fabrication and installation.

MD Gerard McMahon said, “As a Scottish construction company that exists to build great things, it has been a privilege to work on some of these much-loved establishments. With a firm focus on striving for the best possible finishes and using high-quality materials, I’ve no doubt they will continue to appeal to visitors. Over the course of these projects, all partners worked hand in hand, combining our passion for excellence to create something striking.”
