Elmhurst Energy gears up for Scotland Conference

DEA advising on EPC

ELMHURST Energy is to bring energy efficiency and retrofit professionals together in Glasgow on May 20 for its Scotland Conference at Glasgow’s Radisson Blu Hotel.

The agenda includes a Scottish Government update on EPC reform, HEM and HEETSA. Taking place shortly after the recent Scottish elections, the conference offers a timely opportunity to hear from government on the direction of travel for Scotland’s energy efficiency sector.

Stuart Fairlie, group MD at Elmhurst Energy, said, “This is a pivotal moment for energy efficiency in Scotland.

“With the Scottish Parliament election taking place shortly before the conference, there could not be a better time for professionals across the sector to hear from government, understand what may come next and consider how they can play a practical role in improving the energy performance of Scotland’s buildings.”

Paul Slater, of Scottish Power, will explore the changing funding landscape and the transition from ECO into the Warm Homes Plan, while Ross Armstrong of Warmworks will examine how the plan can move from policy ambition into practical delivery.

David Jenkins, of Heriot-Watt University, will discuss next-generation EPCs across Europe. Elmhurst experts will also cover building standards in Scotland, measured technology for historic buildings, and PAS 2038, alongside issues that support healthier homes, like damp and mould.

Interactive Q&A sessions will run throughout the day, giving attendees the chance to put questions directly to speakers and industry specialists.
