RJ McLeod has been appointed to carry out enabling works ahead of the £450 million build of Center Parcs’ first Scottish resort in Hawick.
The contract includes the creation of a 2.5km access road, which will initially support construction traffic before becoming the main access for guests and suppliers once the village is operational in 2029.
St Boswells-based D.E. Fencing has secured a six-figure contract to supply and install fencing required during construction and ahead of the village opening. The appointments follow the earlier selection of East Lothian-headquartered Alba Trees, which will supply trees for the afforestation of the site.
