BAM UK and Ireland has been named as the title sponsor for the Kirkcaldy Parks Running Festival, which returns on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th August 2026.
Held across Kirkcaldy’s parklands, including Beveridge Park, Dunnikier Park and Ravenscraig Park, the festival has become a fixture in Fife’s events calendar, bringing together runners, families, volunteers and spectators for a weekend that celebrates sport, wellbeing and community.
The 2026 programme includes a half marathon, relay race, 10K and 5K trail races, alongside the K107 Kids Superhero Fun Run.
Cara Murdoch, chair of the Kirkcaldy Parks Running Festival, said, “We’re encouraging as many people as possible to get involved this year, whether that’s taking part, volunteering or coming along to support. It’s a great opportunity to be active, spend time outdoors and be part of something local.”
The festival relies on the support of volunteers and local partners, helping to create a welcoming and accessible event for the whole community. The event is supported by a range of partners, including BAM UK & Ireland as official sponsor, alongside backing from Fife Council through the Fife Strategic Events Fund and local businesses.
BAM UK & Ireland is currently working across Fife, including in Kirkcaldy where it is delivering regeneration works, as well as at the Templehall Community Hub.
Martin Cooper, project director at BAM UK & Ireland, said, “We’re pleased to support the Kirkcaldy Parks Running Festival, which brings people together and promotes health and wellbeing. With our teams working in Kirkcaldy and across Fife, it’s important to us that we contribute positively to the communities where we deliver.”
Entries are now open, with organisers encouraging early registration.
