AIM Acoustics & Insulation Manufacturing has appointed Campbell McGregor as specification and sales manager for Scotland and northern England.
Commercial director Ian Exall explained that the new role reinforces the firm’s commitment to support customers in making the correct choice of fire, thermal and acoustic insulation products.
Recruited to provide additional capacity, Campbell adds to AIM’s external sales team.
“From two regions we have created four to ensure we continue to meet our commitment to customers and keep pace with business growth,” Ian Exall added.
In addition to Campbell, the external sales team includes Chris Dale (business development manager for the central region), Phil Reynolds (business development manager west), and Karen Viccars (specification manager for the Greater London area). AIM is also recruiting for the south east region.
Campbell McGregor’s construction industry career began aged 16. He joins from Rockwool where, as a regional manager, he worked with architects and contractors. He has been involved in specifying projects including Aberdeen Exhibition Centre, University of Edinburgh, and the Department for Education’s schools rebuilding programme, spanning student accommodation, leisure complexes, high-rise buildings, and re-clad schemes.
“AIM has an excellent reputation in the industry,” he said. “With compliance so important, it’s good to be with a business that gives customers product advice that is second to none. This role involves building commercial relationships with early stage correct product specification – a great combination for me.”
