RYDEN has strengthened its senior team through a series of internal promotions and a key strategic hire in Aberdeen.
Daniel Stalker has been promoted to partner in the investment team, while Cameron Whyte becomes partner in the agency team in Edinburgh. The firm has also welcomed Roddy Morrison as partner in a dual role across project management and building consultancy services in Aberdeen.

Joining Ryden as a graduate surveyor in 2017, the firm said Daniel Stalker has developed a strong presence in the market over the years. Known for building lasting client relationships and maintaining an active profile across north east Scotland, Daniel has played a key role in driving the firm’s investment activity, it added.
Since joining in 2011, Cameron Whyte has become an ‘integral’ part of Ryden’s industrial agency service in Edinburgh. His strong financial performance and consistent contribution to the team’s success have established him as a well recognised figure in the industrial and logistics market.
Further promotions see Craig McIver in Aberdeen and Marcus McLuskie in Glasgow appointed to senior surveyor roles. Craig joined as a graduate surveyor in 2021, supporting the rating team through the 2023 non-domestic rates (NDR) revaluation in complex proposals and reliefs and now advising clients ahead of revaluation 2026. Marcus, who joined in 2022 as a graduate building surveyor, has also been recognised for consistently high performance in delivering building consultancy projects and client advice.
Alongside these internal recognitions, Roddy Morrison has joined the business to support the continued expansion of project management and building consultancy services in Aberdeen. Prior to Ryden, he held senior roles at CBRE and Turner & Townsend, where he led the building consultancy team in Aberdeen and delivered major advisory and project management instructions.
Alan Gilkison, managing partner at Ryden, commented, “Ryden’s latest promotions recognise the people driving the business forward and ensure we are well positioned for the future. Daniel and Cameron have built solid reputations in their respective fields and will continue to play an essential role in our growth, while Marcus and Craig are perfect examples of the next generation of talent coming through.
“Bringing Roddy into our project management and building consultancy services adds further strength to our capability in Aberdeen. His experience and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to expand our offer and support clients on increasingly complex projects in a wide range of sectors.”
