CONSTRUCTION and property consultancy Thomas & Adamson has rebranded as Egis, following its acquisition by the firm in 2024.
Founded in 1935, Thomas & Adamson delivers project management, cost management, building surveying and construction safety services. The rebrand is said to reflect the strategic integration of the two businesses, bringing together Thomas & Adamson’s sector expertise with Egis’ international resources and capabilities.
The team of over 100 employees will continue serving clients from Scotland, London and the Middle East, now with access to Egis’ global resources spanning 22,000 people across more than 70 countries. This includes specialist capabilities in sustainable infrastructure, transport systems, aviation consulting, asset management, and digital transformation.
Francois Basselot, MD of Egis in the UK and Ireland, said, “For more than 90 years, Thomas & Adamson has built an outstanding reputation within the construction and property sector. Adopting the Egis name reflects the strategically important role this team plays within our global business and delivers benefits for both clients and colleagues.
“This team shares Egis’ core values – a commitment to technical excellence, exceptional client service, and long-term relationships. Together, we’re building a stronger, more innovative firm, offering clients enhanced capability and greater value under the Egis brand.”
Zander Muego, director at Thomas & Adamson, added, “This marks an exciting next chapter for our business. Being part of a global entity provides opportunities to develop and innovate in ways that strengthen what we already do well. Our focus remains firmly on building relationships, delivering a great service and expanding on the expertise that has defined Thomas & Adamson for over 90 years – the same team delivering for our clients but now with the reach and backing of Egis. We’re proud of our heritage and equally excited about our future.”
