SENIOR Architectural Systems has launched the new SPW+ Tilt & Turn Open In aluminium window system.
The aluminium fenestration solutions manufacturer explained that the new system has been developed to offer a ‘convenient and cost-effective’ solution for projects where slim sightlines, thermal performance, and speed of installation are all required.
Designed to provide a flexible solution where thermal targets may vary depending on the project, Senior added that SPW+ can be installed with both double and triple glazing options to meet U-values of between 0.94 W/m2K and 1.3 W/m2K when calculated as a commercial CEN standard window.
The system has also been designed to work with Senior’s aluminium Louvre Guard, without the need for any additional profile materials to minimise costs and labour time on site.
The aluminium window is suited to a variety of residential and commercial projects, from high-rise accommodation to education and healthcare facilities. The 1,500mm-wide by 2,400mm-high system also meets the security requirements of PAS24, and can be powder coated to ‘virtually any colour’ at Senior’s in-house facility.
