Barratt awarded top customer satisfaction rating for record 17 years in a row

Barratt Homes at Auchinleck Villlage

BARRATT Homes and David Wilson Homes has received the maximum 5 star rating in the new Home Builders Federation (HBF) annual new Homes Customer Satisfaction Survey.

This is the 17th year in a row that Barratt Redrow has achieved the top rating. To mark the achievement, the business is donating £25,000 to the Construction Youth Trust.

The number of stars a housebuilder receives is based on survey responses from customers after both an eight-week and nine-month period, asking them how satisfied they are with the service they have received and their home’s build quality.

Barratt and David Wilson Homes continue to create new communities in some of Scotland’s most popular locations, from West Craigs in Edinburgh to St Andrews in Fife, South Lanarkshire and Aberdeenshire.

The HBF New Homes Customer Satisfaction Survey is one of the largest surveys of its type in the country, with around 50,000 people taking part who have recently bought a new build home.

Neil Jefferson, chief executive of the Home Builders Federation, sai, “This year’s Customer Satisfaction Survey results reflect the industry’s ongoing commitment to service quality. Customers are the ultimate judges of performance, so receiving such high scores based on their feedback alone is a significant achievement.”

Alison Condie, regional MD for Barratt Redrow in Scotland, commented, “We put the customer at the heart of everything we do, and building high quality homes is fundamental to that. To be rated as a 5 star builder by our customers for 17 years in a row is something we are really proud of as it means our customers love their homes.”
