Douglas Smith, managing partner at Hardies Chartered Surveyors, said, “Huge congratulations to our newly crowned magnificent seven for achieving their APC following months of graft, determination, technical mastery, mock interviews, revisions, setbacks and comebacks… all leading to this moment.

“We’re proud to continue expanding our career pathways – from apprenticeships and graduate routes to chartership and beyond – supporting our people to grow their skills and build long‑term futures in the surveying profession.

“And thanks too to our inhouse APC gurus – Gareth Cordiner (regional partner, Aberdeen); John Mackie (regional partner, Dundee) and Murray Warner (managing partner) – whose guidance, support and wisdom have made all the difference to our magnificent seven achieving their goals.”
