KEEPMOAT has unveiled plans to invest £84 million to build 332 new homes in Stoneyburn, partnering with housing association Home Group to create a multi-tenure community in West Lothian.

The development will see Home Group deliver 33 affordable new homes at the site off Cannop Crescent, which when complete will provide a range of two, three, and four-bedroom properties.

Keepmoat said the placemaking scheme will deliver a vibrant new community and support local housing needs over a six-year build programme, with community green spaces also integrated into the plans.

Tim Metcalfe, regional MD at Keepmoat Scotland, said, “We’re delighted to be partnering with Home Group to deliver high-quality homes at our coming Stonelea development. At Keepmoat Scotland, we’re committed to working closely with landowners, local authorities and our partners to create thriving new communities and we’re proud to progress a fantastic scheme to meet the growing demand for homes in West Lothian.

“Our partnership model enables us to create homes for the market amid a housing shortage whilst also delivering high quality homes  for those who need them most. By prioritising a multi-tenure approach, we can ensure Keepmoat works to deliver homes outlined by local authorities.”

Bryony Willett, director of Home Group Scotland, added, “We are delighted to be delivering these much-needed affordable homes in Stoneyburn. It is so important that we continue to deliver affordable housing across Scotland, and we look forward to seeing the difference these homes will make to local families.”
