CLARK Contracts has donated over £1,500 worth of gifts to support Cash for Kids Mission Christmas, a project dedicated to providing presents to disadvantaged children and young people.
Employees from the Paisley-based contractor contributed a variety of gifts to the initiative. Donations included toys, electronics, and self-care items, which were distributed across Cash for Kids locations in both the east and west of Scotland.
Vic Hendry, Cash for Kids Edinburgh, Lothians, Fife & Falkirk charity manager, said, “This is the most difficult Mission Christmas we’ve ever experienced. The rising cost of living means more local families are living in poverty and as a result, we’re seeing a record number of applications for support this year.”
Diane McCartney, Cash for Kids – West Scotland, campaigns & events executive, added, “Cash for Kids would like to express how grateful we are for Clark Contracts support of our Mission Christmas campaign. In the West of Scotland, 1 in 4 children are living in poverty, with many facing hunger, cold homes and no visit from Santa on Christmas morning.”
Gordon Cunningham, MD of Clark Contracts, commented, “We are proud to have supported Cash for Kids Mission Christmas this December. This initiative reflects our commitment to making a positive impact in the communities where we operate. We hope these gifts will bring joy to children, young people and their families across the east and west of Scotland.”
