ROBERTSON was named Green Innovation Business of the Year by the British Chambers of Commerce at its 2025 Chamber Business Awards.

The national awards are designed to highlight the role of firms in delivering ‘growth, prosperity and innovation’ across the UK.

Nominated by Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce, Robertson and its Tayside regional business won the award after judges highlighted how ‘sustainability is at the heart of the company’s strategy and values’.

Robertson’s recently published ESG report illustrates the measures the group has put in place and the standards it upholds to ensure the company remains climate positive, and on track to deliver its vision to assure a sustainable future.

The company will collect the award at a ceremony in London on 26th November – where it will also compete for the Winner of Winners Award alongside other category champions.

Sarah Howard MBE, chair of the British Chambers of Commerce, said, “Green innovation is front and centre of the work Robertson, and they are worthy winners of this award. Their record of sustainable innovation is truly inspiring to others in the construction industry and the wider business community.”

Elliot Robertson, CEO, Robertson Group, added, “This recognition reflects the strength of work delivered across the group and is credit to the Tayside team for being selected by their local chamber of commerce as an exemplar of that success. We are committed to green innovation through our ongoing investment in sustainable construction methods, low-carbon technologies, responsible sourcing, and early collaboration with design teams to reduce embodied carbon from the outset.

“This award further reinforces our commitment to continuous improvement and sustainable delivery. It acknowledges how we support our supply chain partners to improve their sustainable credentials and assist our customers to meet their net zero aspirations.”
