ENGINEERING service provider Quartzelec has secured a four-year, multi-site framework agreement with SSE to deliver the overhaul and servicing of electrical generators at power stations across Scotland.
Covering more than 40 generators ranging from 0.5MW to 12MW, the deal was awarded through a competitive tender process and marks a milestone in Quartzelec’s growth within the power generation sector.
