A Barratt site manager working at a Carnbroe development has been awarded a Seal of Excellence accolade at a national housebuilding awards ceremony.
Alistair Grant was honoured at the 2025 National House Building Council’s (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards.
Awarded a Pride in the Job Quality Award earlier in the year, Alistair has now received the Seal of Excellence award for demonstrating ‘exceptional standards’ at his Calder Gardens site in Carnbroe, Coatbridge.
Every site manager who is registered with the NHBC is automatically entered into the awards, with only a select few being awarded the Seal of Excellence from over hundreds of entrants. Judges look at criteria including consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise, and health and safety.
Alistair Grant said, “It’s an honour to receive such a prestigious award for the hard work put in from everyone who has contributed to the development at Calder Gardens. Building high-quality homes for our customers really is a team effort, and this award reflects the dedication and commitment of the whole team to doing just that.”
Andy Curran, MD for Barratt and David Wilson Homes West Scotland, added, “The quality of our homes starts on site, and this recognition reflects the exceptional standards, dedication and professionalism that Alistair brings to every project. Delivering homes that customers can trust and be proud of is at the heart of what we do, and leaders like Alistair are instrumental in making that possible. We are incredibly proud of his achievement and grateful for his continued commitment to excellence.”
