ENTRIES are now open for the Heating Installer Awards 2026, as the competition returns to Scotland in its search for the best installers across the UK.
The awards invite installers to put forward their best domestic project that demonstrates how they’ve solved a problem with technical know-how and expertise. There are several categories, including one for each region of the UK, Best HVAC Installer, Best Renewables Installer, and Rising Star, which celebrates the future of the industry.
In addition, homeowners can nominate an installer who has impressed them with their work. The awards’ team will then contact the installer to obtain any missing details. Organisers said no project is too big or small and often award-winning jobs are those where clever thinking was applied to solve a problem at hand.
Previous Scottish-based winners have included Shaun Scott of Derek Scott Plumbing and Heating in Insch and Stuart Sugden from SugPlumb Ltd in Aboyne, Arran Donald of IMS Heatin Pumps in Perth, and Daniel Gordon of DG Plumbing and Heating in Inverness.
Winners of the Scotland award will receive promotion locally, and also have the opportunity to meet with industry professionals and network with influential businesses. After entries close in February 2026, a judging panel will choose the finalists. Entries will be marked against outstanding results, problem solving skills, knowledgeable product selection, excellent customer service, and technical expertise.
Regional winners will be announced in April 2026, before going into the running to be crowned the national Heating Installer Awards winner 2026 in June at Birmingham NEC.
To enter, heating installers and apprentices should visit www.heatinginstallerawards.co.uk and fill in the short entry form. Or, give the awards team a call on 0161 871 1188.
