ABERDEEN-headquartered architectural surveying company Archilink Ltd has announced it is expanding into Manchester after achieving ‘significant growth’ this year.
The company revealed it uses ‘cutting-edge’ technologies to deliver data-led surveys for architects, creating 2D and 3D models. This allows architects to make quicker and more informed design decisions by reducing the need for repeated site visits.
Archilink, which also has an office in Glasgow, is now bringing its expertise to Manchester, where it has already secured a number of new clients in the region.
Alistair Lea, co-founder of Archilink, explained, “Manchester is an incredibly dynamic city with an ever-growing demand for accurate, technology-led surveying. Expanding here has been a natural next step for us after our success in Scotland. We’re delighted to have already secured clients in the city, and we see huge potential for further growth.
“Our vision has always been to help architects unlock the full potential of the spaces they design. Expanding into Manchester allows us to support even more clients across the UK, while continuing to push what our technology can do.”
The business is planning to appoint a full-time member of staff in Manchester, with longer-term ambitions to grow its local team as the company’s presence in the city strengthens.
Since its launch, Archilink has grown from a two-person start-up to a team of eight. The company currently works with more than 340 architects on projects ranging from residential developments to large-scale commercial buildings and heritage sites.
