ABERDEENSHIRE-based Kirkwood Timber Frame has appointed Eoghainn Mitchell as head of sales for Scotland and England.
Eoghainn, from Dunfermline, brings over a decade of experience in Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) sales and building development to the role, most recently working for a large timber frame manufacturer.
Kirkwood Timber Frame is on target to deliver 1,000 timber frame structures to customers this year. Projects have included working with housing associations, private housebuilders, commercial businesses, renovation specialists, and with self-builders.
Eoghainn said, “What attracted me to apply to Kirkwood Timber Frame was its varying customer base and its client-centred approach. The team works incredibly hard to foster relationships not only with customers but with partnering organisations as well. This means Kirkwood and its staff can be flexible, adaptable and deliver bespoke projects that still offer significant cost and time savings as part of the build programme.
“(The company’s) collaboration with Eurocell to offer pre-fitted windows and doors via the Insite system is testament to this and to date has reduced build times and costs for customers. This type of innovation and the savings that can be realised, add more weight to the argument for timber frame and how it can revolutionise build programmes.”
Barbara Massie, business development director at Kirkwood Timber Frame, added, “We are thrilled to welcome Eoghainn to the team. As a business we have a reputation for the quality of our people and product, as well as our level of service and customer care.
“I am confident that Eoghainn’s appointment will help us to build upon our relationships with existing and new customers. Combined with the experience and skill of our design, technical and contracts teams we can continue to support customers through their timber frame journey from concept to planning, budgeting, design, and delivery.”
