REPRESENTATIVES from Clark Contracts recently attended a reception at the Northern Lighthouse Boards office in Edinburgh to mark the Royal National Lifeboat Institution’s (RNLI) 200th anniversary.
The main contractor is currently delivering RNLI’s new boathouse in Anstruther.
The reception featured speeches from Peter Sparkes (RNLI CEO), Jill Hepburn (RNLI head of region Scotland), and host Clare Adamson MSP. The focus was on celebrating collaboration with RNLI’s partners including agencies, charities, organisations, and individuals, and addressing the needs of Scotland’s coastal communities.
Michael Scanlan, director at Clark Contracts, said, “It is fantastic to be involved in RNLI’s 200th celebrations and we are proud to be delivering the new flagship RNLI facility at Anstruther.”
Clark Contracts is currently on site delivering the new lifeboat station, which will provide a modern base for the volunteer crew and a permanent home for the Shannon-class lifeboat that arrived in Fife last year.
